Press Intern

Senator Alex Padilla of California invites applicants for Fall 2024 press internship. Press interns’ responsibilities include transcribing various news events, congressional hearings and interviews, compiling daily news clips, conducting research for speechwriting, drafting press releases, organizing and updating media lists, assisting with media monitoring and social media content, and additional tasks to assist the press team. One of our press interns will be a designated digital intern. For this role, additional digital skills, especially graphic design/video production, are a huge plus! The application deadline is July 1, 2024 at 11:59pm EST.
