U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA) seeks an experienced Digital Director to maintain the Senator’s official presence online and across all social media platforms. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience managing a social media platform, preferably in a Capitol Hill or highly-active political/campaign setting. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be an excellent writer, detail-oriented, a team player, comfortable working on an active communications team in a fast-paced environment, and ready to look for proactive and innovative opportunities to optimize the Senator’s online presence. The ideal candidate must also have experience working with design platforms such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Crafting and executing a social media strategy for an active and highly-visible Principal;
  • Managing and creating social media content;
  • Conducting real-time social media monitoring;
  • Designing graphics, print materials and other branding assets;
  • Recording, editing and producing video;
  • Drafting online copy and working with web vendors to update and maintain the Senator’s website; and
  • Producing and scheduling email newsletters.

Compensation is competitive for the ideal candidate, and commensurate with experience. This job is based in Washington, D.C., and may require some travel. Georgia and/or Southern ties strongly preferred, and Spanish-speaking bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
