Job Description
Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) seeks an experienced Digital Director to join an active communications team and manage all digital communications for her official office. Applicants should be innovative, hard-working, detail-oriented, creative, strong writers, and team players who can work well with other members of the communications and policy teams. Applicants must also have a deep understanding of how digital tools and platforms can be integrated into the Senator's outreach work and the office’s overall goals both in Washington, D.C. and in Nevada.
Responsibilities include: developing short- and long-term digital strategies and plans for the office, managing and updating the official website, developing daily content for all social media platforms, creating regular content for all social media platforms including compelling videos, graphics, and other shareable visuals, expanding the e-newsletter program, overseeing key projects from start to finish, coordinating digital messaging with outside allies and other member offices, and analyzing online engagement for future optimization. This is not an entry-level position. Previous Capitol Hill, campaign, or digital agency experience strongly preferred. Ties to Nevada and fluency in Spanish are preferred, but not required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design and video editing software is strongly preferred.
