Professional Staff Member

Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Republican Staff is seeking a Professional Staff Member. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of relevant policy experience. Candidates must have strong written communication skills, attention to detail and be able to work under tight deadlines. Successful candidates will be responsible for conducting oversight of federal agencies, advising on policy matters, and managing legislation within their assigned issue portfolio. Issue portfolios can be shaped by the interest and experience of successful candidates and existing staff.
