Administrative Assistant/ Government Relations


Job Description


  • Administrative responsibilities for enterprise-wide corporate and PAC political giving solicitations, budgets, and execution. Maintain political contribution database and reporting documents. Work with legal counsel and external compliance vendor to ensure compliance with Policies & Procedures and statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Administrative support in Department budget, lobbying, and compliance execution, tracking, and reports. Process and track various trade associations and nonprofit contributions.
  • Support and advance Tenet’s federal and state government relations and advocacy agenda, including supporting federal and state grassroots messages and filing educational content used to increase employee engagement with grassroots activities. Track grassroots engagement and coordinate facility visits by government stakeholders. Update tracking documents of corporate, market, and other leader roles on trade association committees and boards.
  • Prepare and update Government Relations messages/content on Department and grassroots sites to ensure timely dissemination of essential information. Manage and maintain policy library, including legislative session and end-of-year reports from trade associations and Department.
  • Manage and update quarterly reporting and advocacy materials.

Requirements


  • High level of competence with business software, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to update project management documents.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and oversee multiple tasks
