Fellow

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy seeks a part-time paid health economics fellow. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in economics, data analysis, Python programming, and a working knowledge of the U.S. health care ecosystem. Fellow will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis of various health policy proposals related to Medicare, health insurance markets, hospital financing, and patient affordability. Fellows must be available to work at least two days per week, one day being in-person in the Senator’s Washington D.C. office. A living stipend is available for qualifying candidates. Fellowship will run for 3-6 months based on the candidate’s availability, with an option to renew for an additional 6 months based on need. Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, resume, and sample programming portfolio to gopsenatejobs@gmail.com.
