The Taxpayers Protection Alliance is seeking a creative and dynamic Digital Media Coordinator to join our team in-person full-time in Washington, D.C. This entry or mid-level role will involve crafting innovative, engaging, and timely social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, a deep understanding of social media trends, and an ability to leverage analytical data to create a targeted digital media strategy.


Responsibilities:

· Content Creation & Strategy: Develop and implement creative social media content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, ensuring the voice and branding of the company is consistent across all platforms.

· Rapid Response Content: Monitor social media trends, breaking news, and current events to quickly create timely and relevant content that responds to emerging opportunities.

· Analytics & Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics tools to track the performance of social media posts, adjust strategies based on engagement metrics, and optimize content for maximum impact.

· Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, including writing copy, designing visuals, editing video, and scheduling posts.

· Website Management: Assist in maintaining and updating TPA’s website, ensuring it reflects current marketing initiatives and is optimized for user engagement and SEO.

· Media Strategy: Occasionally assist the communications team with press releases, pitching, and contact list updates.


Qualifications:

· Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

· Experience managing an organization’s social media account.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Creative thinking with a passion for staying on top of emerging trends in digital media and marketing.

· Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere and graphic design experience with platforms such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator is strongly preferred.


This position is remote on Fridays, and in-office in D.C. Monday-Thursday. TPA offers health insurance coverage and an extremely generous and flexible PTO policy.
