THE OPPORTUNITY: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Playing a critical role at a historic moment, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will have the opportunity to take OGS to the next level and contribute not only to peacebuilding and economic development in the region, but also to deeply shaping the lives of our fellows and their communities. OGS has very diverse stakeholders, from our cross-border fellows, alumni, and staff, to USAID, business advisors, mentors, coaches, and donors. The CEO will be a talented situational leader who recognizes our stakeholders' varied needs and inspires them toward our bold and challenging mission. The ideal CEO will be visionary and optimistic with a grounded, pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up ability to get things done. They will be empathic, diplomatic, inclusive, strategic, and entrepreneurial. Though there is a strong preference for leaders with entrepreneurial business experience, candidates who can demonstrate similar leadership skills will be considered. The CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors.
