Job Opening: Grassroots Georgia Team Member
The Democratic Party of Georgia’s Grassroots Georgia Program is hiring outreach staff to help
with our in-person grassroots efforts in metro Atlanta as we build upon our successes in the
2020 and 2022 elections. We have worked hard to make Georgia a battleground state and we
will need all the help we can get to prepare for the next Presidential election!
We are looking for vaccinated, determined, and passionate Democrats who want to be involved
in the Democratic Party of Georgia’s efforts to elect Democratic candidates up and down the
ballot. Grassroots Georgia Team Members will need to inform and inspire voters to take action,
so we're looking for people who share our goals and values and are fired up to get involved with
grassroots outreach.
Location: Atlanta, GA (This is an in-person position - there are no remote options)
Reports to: the DPG’s Grassroots Georgia Director
Hours: 6 hour shifts - weekday afternoon/evening
Compensation: Average of $25/hr (depending on performance), Paid Training, & Uncapped

● A commitment to electing Democratic candidates up and down the ballot
● A friendly and outgoing demeanor, the ability to think on your feet and engage
constituents’ enthusiastically with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
● A willingness to learn, and strong personal accountability
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Educating & motivating voters to take action and help get Democratic candidates elected
at the Federal, State, and local levels
● Attending group and individual training sessions at the DPG’s office with the Grassroots
Georgia Director and other team members.
● Maintaining professionalism and achieving office standards.
