Job Title: Legislative Correspondent/Legislative Aide

Description & Responsibilities: The Office of John M. Mannion (NY-22) seeks a highly motivated Legislative Correspondent/Legislative Aide to join his Washington, DC office. Primary responsibilities include sorting, prioritizing, and drafting responses to constituent correspondence. Additional LC duties include drafting proactive mass mailings and e-newsletters as well as handling a diverse portfolio of legislative issues. This position requires excellent writing, research, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a sense of humor, be detail-oriented and complete tasks in a timely manner. This is not an entry-level position – previous Capitol Hill experience and familiarity with Fireside is preferred. The salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000.
