POLITICAL DIRECTOR

This job is based in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities

● Develop, hold and strengthen relationships with Georgia elected officials, county parties, allied organizations, and community leaders.

● Help ensure that campaign and candidate activities are run with a clear political strategy that meets campaign goals and aligns with community values.

● Support the Campaign Manager, Deputy Campaign Managers, and Communications Director in messaging the campaign to various audiences across the state, and speak on behalf of the campaign at political and coalition events.

● Understand how Georgia’s election administration laws affect a candidate's ability to win

● Plan and conduct events for the Candidate including but not limited to political field activities, small business engagement, constituency services, and rallies (in conjunction with the Communications Director, Scheduling Director, and additional staff when required)

● Manage political call time and tracking outreach by the Candidate and Campaign Manager

● Maintain an expert level of responsiveness to political news, events, and developments across Georgia

● Other related duties as assigned
