The Democratic Staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, & Urban Affairs seeks a paid press intern. Responsibilities include compiling press clips, drafting press releases, talking points, and memos, conducting research, and assisting press staff with the day-to-day operations of an active press shop. Opportunities to support in drafting social media and other digital content including creating graphics may also be available. Applicants should work well under pressure and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates with availability into the fall preferred, but not required.
