REST is a Seattle-area non-profit that is dedicated to providing services designed specifically for sex trafficking survivors. THE OPPORTUNITY:

REST is seeking a full time Major Gift Officer to advance our fundraising and development efforts. This role is central to our mission, cultivating, stewarding, and soliciting a portfolio of 150 major donors through personalized prospecting, communications, and meetings. Your work will include strategizing with the Director of Development, crafting compelling proposals, representing REST across various platforms and events, and securing five- and six-figure major gifts, with the overall goal of expanding pathways to freedom, safety, and hope in order to end sex trafficking.

WHAT YOU BRING

At a minimum:


  • You are motivated and inspired by our mission (learn more at www.iwantrest.com).

  • You have 7+ years of experience in meaningful and memorable donor cultivation and fundraising, with proven expertise in cultivating relationships and securing major gifts with multi-year commitments.

  • You have proven confidence and success in project and relationship management, as well as a passion for philanthropy

  • You have exceptional organizational and planning skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks adaptively amidst change, work independently, and set and track progress toward goals.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional image, with the ability to effectively communicate the impact of investing in our community.

  • You have a highly motivated, self-starting, and results-driven approach.

  • You possess a strong work ethic, have confidence, take initiative and be an enthusiastic team player.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and have experience using CRMs.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of education and experience.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00, with the possibility of yearly bonus incentive based on exceeding performance expectations.

SCHEDULE

This exempt position typically works 40 hours per week, requiring flexible hours and some evenings and weekends, dependent upon events and donor meetings.


LOCATION

Hybrid in WA, with attendance at events and some donor meetings in Seattle required.
