About the Opportunity
Hot Bread Kitchen seeks a temporary Development Administrative Associate to support the organization in raising $8M+ annually. You will support a high-performing, seven-person Development team, led by our Chief Strategy & Advancement Officer. Qualified applicants will be detail-oriented, thorough, and flexible development operations leaders. This role will report to the Director of Institutions and Development Strategy. The position term will start immediately through December 1, 2024, with a possibility to continue.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Process and log all donations in Salesforce and create donor acknowledgements and invoices.
Participate in weekly development operations meetings to ensure team alignment across recent gifts, acknowledgements, invoices, and other development operations processes.
Generate data analytics and weekly reporting for the development team.
Create meeting briefs and talking points for internal and external meetings.
Perform fundraising data hygiene routine tasks in Salesforce.
Complete administrative duties for government reporting.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Passion and a commitment to Hot Bread Kitchen’s mission and core programs
2+ years of nonprofit development and Salesforce experience
Strong attention to detail
Bachelor’s Degree required

Location
This is a hybrid position, with flexibility to work virtually or in-person as needed. Our facility is located in Chelsea Market, 75 Ninth Avenue, in Manhattan.
Compensation and Hours
This is a temporary part-time position, up to 20 hours per week. Compensation is $25-$30 per hour. This is a temporary position and is not eligible for benefits.
