We are seeking an experienced and dynamic fundraising professional to join our team as the Manager of Corporate & Foundation Relations. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our nonprofit’s corporate and foundation fundraising efforts, with a focus on direct donor engagement, relationship management, and stewardship. You will play a vital role in cultivating and managing a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors, securing sponsorships, and ensuring successful stewardship through events and volunteer opportunities. This position is ideal for someone with strong donor relations skills, experience in corporate partnerships, and a passion for advancing affordable housing.

Pay: $90,000-110,000/salary DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising & Donor Engagement: Proactively manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors, building strong relationships to secure new and recurring donations. This includes solicitation of sponsorships and large gifts to support organizational events and activities.
  • Donor Stewardship: Plan and execute stewardship activities to ensure donors are appreciated and informed about the impact of their contributions. This includes coordinating personalized reports, hosting in-person/virtual donor meetings, and organizing volunteer events.
  • Corporate Partnerships: Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration with corporate partners, including sponsorships, employee volunteer programs, and engagement in our nonprofit’s mission.
  • Event Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of fundraising events related to institutional donors, ensuring successful participation and sponsorship from corporate partners.
  • Collaborative Grant Submissions: While the role is not focused on grant writing, you will coordinate with internal teams to support collaborative grant submissions and maintain relationships with foundations as needed.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate donor records in our Raiser’s Edge database, track fundraising metrics, and generate reports on donor activity and revenue goals.
  • Institutional Funders Task Force: Lead a cross-functional task force to share best practices and maximize opportunities across corporate and foundation fundraising.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or similar).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising, with a strong emphasis on donor stewardship, direct fundraising, and partnership development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of managing a portfolio of institutional donors and securing significant donations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to corporate representatives and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge or a similar donor management system is preferred.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector, especially in affordable housing, is a plus.
