Ven Vamos Strategies

seeks driven, confident political field organizers For various Outreach projects for the 2024 Election Cycle. We work in Various states and you will be stationed in a battleground state working directly with our clients to reach goals and deadlines. Field organizers will perform door-to-door canvassing and outreach for Ven Vamos Strategies, responsibilities include, Recruiting and training paid canvassers, quality controlling canvassers, walking doors and managing a canvassing team. Field organizers will also recruit and manage volunteers to assist with canvassing. Field organizers and volunteers are responsible for getting out the vote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and train local canvassers.
  • Manage travel canvassers: manager entire canvassing program assigned.
  • Quality control Canvassers and assign turf's and voter contact.
  • Gather and promptly report information from canvassing, which will inform campaign strategies.
  • Recruit and manage volunteers who will assist in neighborhood canvassing.
  • Effectively communicate field issues and data from canvassing with the structure of the campaign.
  • Other duties as needed by the Regional Field Director to support the election cycle.

Qualifications and Desirables:

  • Excellent people skills. Field organizers must be able to communicate political issues to strangers with friendliness and passion.
  • Strong communication skills; field organizers will promptly report any field issues to the Regional Field Director and immediately input data from canvassing into the reporting platform.
  • Strong sense of responsibility; field organizers must communicate any scheduling conflicts before the date in question and take their canvassing, recruiting, and managing roles seriously.
  • Must appreciate their role’s importance and what is at stake in the 2024 election.
  • Team player; must work well with other field organizers and volunteers to save democracy.
  • Ability to work campaign hours, including evenings and weekends, and be flexible as responsibilities increase.
  • Ability to work outside and walk door-to-door.
  • Must have a mobile smartphone, a valid driver’s license, and a vehicle.
  • Commitment to electing Democrats up and down the ballot
  • Interest in politics and willingness to learn about and accurately represent democratic issues to voters.

Experience

  • Prior canvassing experience is ideal but optional. Experience in customer service or other jobs/volunteer work/clubs that involve communication and outreach is also great.
  • All candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of prior experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00- $27.00 per hour
