Senator Sheldon Whitehouse seeks law clerks for the summer to handle Judiciary Committee issues. Candidates must be currently enrolled in or have recently received a degree from an accredited JD program. This is a full-time, in-person clerkship. Primary responsibilities include researching and writing legal memoranda, composing oversight letters, and other associated responsibilities. Candidates must be exceptionally strong writers, detail-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines, and able to handle multiple projects at once. Please send a cover letter, resume, and brief writing sample of no more than 5 pages in a single PDF document to NEProgressiveLawClerk@gmail.com by February 1, 2025. Cover letters should include an explanation of why applicants want to help advance the work of Senator Whitehouse and his office.
