  • Communications & Brand Management delivers strategic internal, external, and executive communications for Wells Fargo and is responsible for driving the company's brand strategy. The team provides world-class counsel to accelerate the business and deliver relevant content to build trust, drive stakeholder perception, and protect and enhance the company's reputation.
  • Government Relations & Public Policy (GRPP) leads the company's engagement with policy makers and leaders at the federal, state, and local levels on public policy and regulatory matters that affect our ability to conduct business and serve customers. The team includes six areas of practice — Federal Government Relations, State and Local Government Relations, Regulatory Relations, Public Policy, Political Programs, and External Relations — and is supported by the GRPP Compliance and Operations team.
  • Social Impact & Sustainability leads the development of strategic initiatives and corporate commitments to drive positive, innovative social impact and sustainability, manage critical environmental and social issues, and enhance Wells Fargo's reputation as a leader in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance. This team is responsible for the Wells Fargo Foundation, community relations, impact investing, and integrating sustainability, human rights, social justice, and equity considerations throughout the company.
  • Strategy & Transformation leads strategy, operating model, and cross-functional initiatives for Public Affairs. The team drives transformation, risk management, operational excellence, and efficiency, while measuring progress against our strategy, focusing resources, and defining success measures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will develop paid social media campaigns on branded platforms for clients in both B2B and B2C sectors. This individual will play a key role in developing and supporting paid social campaigns both in-house and agency-led paid programs. This position can sit in San Francisco, CA or Charlotte, NC and will not offer relocation assistance.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop measurable paid social media campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, & Pinterest
  • Leverage first and third-party data to build advanced audience targeting and segmentation
  • Drive engagement, impressions, awareness, thought leadership, lead generation/nurturing and lead conversions
  • Ensure messaging and voice aligns with social media guidelines and that it is consistent across channels
  • Establish key metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness
  • Prepare reports summarizing results and identify opportunities to create efficiencies
  • Develop training to support best practices and standards
  • Partner with the technology support team to identify opportunities to improve the automated system (Sprinklr)
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with social media best practices and trends

The Publishing & Capabilities Team within Communications & Brand Management supports social media content publishing for all Integrated, In House and Organic campaigns, operationalizing social capabilities and governance for Lines of Business (LOBs) and all branded social platforms.

Required Qualifications


  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms (i.e mobile or social media) demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 4+ years of experience with storytelling across social media, internal and digital channels
  • 4+ years of experience creating and executing digital communication content and plans
  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital strategy management, product management, or program management
  • 4+ years of digital design, mobile design experience or a combination of both with a focus on user experience
  • 5+ years of experience in architecting and strategizing the digital marketing technology solutions
  • 2+ years of experience presenting information to senior leaders


Desired Qualifications


  • Experience with social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, and Pinterest
  • Ability to manage online, social media, or communications projects
  • Experience using social media analytics software
  • 5 + years of digital marketing experience


Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing paid social media campaigns either in-house or at an agency
  • Experience working with various social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, & Pinterest)
  • Experience with social media management & social listening tools
  • Experience with paid social media execution, media buying, bid types, etc.
  • Experience with web-based research tools, methodologies and digital analytics
  • Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations
  • Experience presenting information that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Experience consulting and influencing leaders, partners and peers

Salary Information


The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.


CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $93,700 Mid: $132,000

NC-Charlotte: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
