The Health & Human Services Agency is accepting applications for
CHILD AND FAMILY WELL-BEING SERVICES POLICY ANALYST

Child and Family Well-Being Policy Analyst is a professional classification responsible for providing managers and executives with general administrative support in a variety of Child and Family Well-Being program areas. Incumbents have specialized knowledge of State and Federal regulations, codes and statutes, governing Child and Family Well-Being programs, and use this knowledge to analyze, interpret and implement new legislation and regulations from the State and analyze the impact those changes may have on the County, and may provide legislative analysis and opinions to HHSA managers and executives. The Child and Family Well-Being Policy Analyst is allocated to the Child and Family Well-Being (CFWB) program of the Health and Human Services Agency.

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency with 24 units in a social or behavioral science, or a closely related field AND four (4) years of experience performing the most difficult child welfare services casework or intervention services as a Protective Services Worker for the County of San Diego or an equivalent public protective services agency.

Evaluation
Qualified applicants will be placed on a six (6) month eligible list based on scores received during the evaluation of information provided on the supplemental questionnaire. Please ensure all information is complete and accurate as the responses you provide on the supplemental application form will be reviewed using an automated evaluation system. If you are successful in the initial process, your application will be reviewed individually to confirm the information you provided is accurate and qualifying.
