Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in government, politics, or campaigns.
  • 6 years of experience managing a digital presence on behalf of a brand, organization or public figure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Experience in digital video production and distribution.
  • Experience initiating and driving new initiatives in civics, media or brand development.
  • Ability to prioritize incoming requests, manage escalations and bring issues to resolution.
  • Excellent political judgment, with the ability to work across political lines.
  • Excellent strategic consultation and investigative skills.

As a Strategic Partner Manager on the Content Partnerships team at YouTube, you'll have a unique opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of partners, and to apply and hone business skills in an entrepreneurial environment. You're comfortable working on complex content agreements with partners, as well as working cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines, to ensure our partners are positioned for success on YouTube and to provide the best possible experience for our users.

As a Strategic Partner Manager for Civics Content Partnerships, you will work to drive adoption of YouTube with government and political entities on the conservative side of the aisle, conveying the value of the platform to connect with constituents and voters.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of YouTube by demonstrating the value of the platform in helping partners achieve their goals.
  • Create and deploy YouTube best practices and understand effective digital outreach strategies.
  • Support the development of YouTube’s civics outreach strategy in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Public Policy, Product, Communications, Marketing and Legal team.
