The Communications Manager is the primary liaison between the issue campaigns and the full Communications team, which includes marketing, copywriting, design, and video specialists.

The Role:

Description:

The Communications Manager ensures the campaign is producing communications products, promoting messaging and research to target audiences, and evaluating the positive impact communications is having on the public debate for each campaign issue.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Execute the marketing & communications strategy for each assigned campaign.
  • Collaborate with members of the campaign and the communications team to create, promote, and evaluate communications products.
  • Execute basic video editing, social media posting, email delivery, and other digital communications functions.
  • Draft copy for press releases, one-pagers, landing pages, and other products.
  • Pitch campaign related TPPF products, experts, and messaging to the media and fulfill press requests.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years working in a conservative communications, policy, legislative, or political position
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and issue-area campaigns
  • Excellent research, writing, and public presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaborative abilities
  • Attention to detail and solid organization skills
