Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) seeks a Director of Operations in his Washington, DC office for duties including but not limited to:

● Creating and managing the Member’s daily and long-term schedule in Washington, DC. Organizing,

tracking and processing all invitations for Washington, DC meetings and events. Adjusting the

schedule as necessary on an ongoing basis.

● Managing the process to compile the Member’s daily briefing materials (e.g., memos, talking points).

● Managing the Rhode Island-based Scheduler by providing oversight and guidance on the creation of

the Member’s daily and long-term schedule in Rhode Island.

● Working closely with the Chief of Staff to oversee office operations for the DC office and managing

the DC Staff Assistant. Collaborating with the District Director and District Staff Assistant on

district office operations.

● Onboarding new DC and District Office staff. Ensuring continued staff compliance with Office

operational policies.

The Director of Operations reports to the Chief of Staff. The Director of Operations supervises the Scheduler and DC Staff Assistant.

This is a senior staff position, which requires a high degree of availability and the ability to independently solve problems and address quickly changing situations.
