We’re looking for a Programmatic Trading Manager to join our team! The Programmatic Trading Manager oversees implementation and day-to-day management of programmatic advertising campaigns.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Responsible for oversight of day-to-day campaign functions and mentoring of junior staff.
- Oversee a team of 2-3 Programmatic Trading Associates and ensure their campaigns are performing at or above DSPolitical standards and stay within internal budgets.
- Serve as the primary resource for Programmatic Trading Associates campaign troubleshooting and training questions, escalating when appropriate.
- Serve as a trainer for new PT staff on all platforms and processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for PMP deals.
- Manage successful campaigns with measurement elements, including Analyst Institute studies.
- Manage media planning and buying process (including RFPs, plan presentation, and execution) for small-to-midsize campaigns. Directly interface with clients to craft and implement plans.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in digital advertising, offer suggestions for new products and techniques
- Conduct regular reviews for PT Associates on their team.
- Adheres to administrative deadlines (timesheet submittal, other general office duties) and is responsive to accounting and other administrative staff when called upon to provide information.
Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirement
- 3+ years of experience in digital roles in the political or public affairs space.
- Must have a background in online advertising, the programmatic ecosystem, and direct experience using one or more Demand Side Platforms (DSPs).
- Significant experience using ad-serving platforms, such as DoubleClick or Sizmek is required.
- Significant experience using self-serve advertising tools, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Google Ads, and Bing. Traditional digital media planning experience is a plus.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
- A demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions with a razor-like attention to detail.
- Relevant project management experience required, along with demonstrated ability to manage teams of two or more.
- Experience managing remote staff is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Office Hours
This position is based in Washington, DC however, we are open to remote work in other states. We will be working on a hybrid basis with many team members working entirely from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
