Legislative Fellow

The Office of Congressman George Whitesides (CA-27) seeks a legislative fellow to handle a portfolio including climate change, environmental, and wildfire issues. This position would be a full-time legislative appointment for one year. Responsibilities would include staffing the Congressman, meeting with stakeholders, drafting legislation, making vote recommendations, and other duties as assigned. 

Fellows perform services in a House office on a temporary basis as part of an established mid-career education program while continuing to receive the usual compensation from a sponsoring employer. To be considered you MUST be affiliated and established program.
