Campaign Manager

Congressman Shri Thanedar is looking to hire a dynamic and experienced Campaign Manager for his re-election in Michigan’s 13th District, which includes Detroit and downriver. The Deputy Campaign Manager will play a crucial role in strategizing, planning, and executing a successful re-election campaign.

Qualifications

  • Critical thinker and ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Strong management and organizational skills, and ability to work well with a team
  • Michigander with Detroit ties strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of all aspects of campaigns and willingness to fill in the gaps where necessary


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the campaign including but not limited to communications, fundraising, political and voter outreach
  • Manage a team of consultants, staffers, and volunteers to ensure all necessary tasks are completed, ensuring effective communication and coordination
  • Manage voter outreach efforts including but not limited to signature gathering, events, canvassing, texting, and phone calls
  • Plan and execute comprehensive earned media efforts


This is a full-time position and lasts until the Michigan primary on August 6, 2024. The position will be based in Detroit and we are looking to hire immediately.
