Position Title:                   Program Coordinator

Status:                                 Full Time, Non-Exempt

Reports to:                         Director, Programs & Development

Pay:                                       $20-$25/hr

The Nonprofit Partnership (TNP) is a regional capacity builder for community organizations, supporting nonprofit organizations and professionals for over 30 years. Focused on providing opportunities to expand learning, and professional and organizational growth, TNP has assisted several hundred organizations in reaching a greater impact in their communities. TNP currently serves over 2,000+ individuals each year, providing professional development, leadership training, coaching, and facilitation to meet the needs of the community in three ways (or what we refer to as the three gears of capacity building): Individual, Organization, and Sector support. Our approach is one that focuses on the delivery of quality, individualized support and resources to client organizations with training and education, customized support, and collaboration.

 Summary: 

The Program Coordinator provides support and customer service for The Nonprofit Partnership with a focus on professional development programming. Reporting to the Director, Programs & Development, this position provides coordination and communication to ensure the delivery of quality programming (workshops, certificate programs, seminars, and other convenings) to support nonprofit organizations and professionals throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

·        Provide overall program support for professional development workshops and events including scheduling of trainers, registration, implementation and follow up support.

·        Manage all program planning (virtual and in-person), including scheduling and logistics including room reservations and set up, audiovisual, and other needs. 

·        Provide background support & production for virtual events.

·        Plan with Marketing & Communications Coordinator for communication and outreach efforts for TNP to encourage program participation from leaders and professionals in the nonprofit sector, public entities, foundations, and other constituencies through emails, social media

posts/videos, flyers, graphics, and development of other marketing materials. 

·        Provide administrative support services for education department such as contracting, invoicing, evaluation, record keeping, and reporting.

·        Provide high-quality and professional customer service over the phone, via email, and in-person. This position will require frequent interaction with members, clients, and the general public. 

·        Maintain current knowledge of trends and resources in the nonprofit field to assist with planning and implementing educational programming.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

·        Minimum of 2-year degree or work experience equivalent.

·        Knowledge and work experience in the nonprofit sector preferred.

·        Experience coordinating events or trainings (Preferred Experience: Zoom, Salesforce)

·         Content creation experience (Preferred Experience: Canva)

·        Ability to manage multiple projects, take initiative, and contribute to ongoing improvement of programming and delivery.

Essential Capabilities & Work Environment:

·        Position requires event set up including scheduling, workshop materials, and refreshments.

·        Position requires ability to sit (primarily at a desk) and work on a computer desktop/laptop. 

·    Position requires the ability to, occasionally, move about inside the office to access file cabinets, cabinets, computers, and equipment. 

·        Position requires the ability to lift and move equipment up to 25 lbs.

·        Position requires occasional driving, transportation of supplies, and program setup off site.
