The Office of Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) is seeking interns for our Washington, D.C. and District offices for Winter/Spring 2025.

Interns will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hardworking team dedicated to serving the people of Southwest Washington. Candidates should have an interest in the legislative process and civic service, possess excellent writing, research, organization, and communication skills, work well in a team environment, and have a general understanding of the U.S. system of government.

We offer both part- and full-time in-person internships and require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week for part-time interns. Internships are paid, depending on hours worked and funds available. Interns may earn college credit instead of compensation, depending on the requirements of their academic institution.

Preference will be given to current college students and applicants with ties to SW Washington and the Pacific Northwest. However, recent college graduates and candidates of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. *Semester start and end dates are flexible based on each applicant’s school schedules and programs.
