Representative Rick Larsen (WA-02), the Ranking Member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, seeks a Staff Assistant for his personal office in Washington, DC.

The Staff Assistant is responsible for greeting front office visitors, managing the office’s phone and voicemail system, managing the office’s interns, coordinating tours and flag requests, supporting members of the legislative and communications teams, serving as a liaison to the T&I Committee staff, assisting the scheduler and legislative staff with record keeping and other administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and can keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Applicants with a connection to Washington’s Second Congressional District are preferred, but not required.
