Field Representative

Senator Van Hollen has an opening for a Field Representative based in his Baltimore City office. Responsibilities include representing Senator Van Hollen primarily throughout Baltimore City, serving as a main point of contact and engagement for the Senator. This staff member will be the Senator’s liaison to all levels of government, local stakeholder and constituent groups, and civic leaders; represent the Senator at community events; and plan and staff the Senator at meetings and events in the region. This position provides an opportunity to be part of a hard-working, cohesive team and to make a difference in the lives of others. The ideal candidate will have ties to and/or knowledge of Baltimore, be self-motivated and great at multi-tasking, have a strong desire to help people, and have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Evening and weekend hours are often required.
