Job Description
The Office of Elissa Slotkin is seeking candidates to serve as Correspondence Manager for the office. Based in the Washington D.C. office, the ideal candidate would manage the overall system of constituent correspondence by mail, phone and email. They are responsible for hitting key metrics and ensuring the mail program is responsive and timely. Qualified candidates would have strong written and oral skills and would work closely with the Michigan Staff Writer to thoughtfully and proactively draft and mail the Senator’s ceremonial and congratulatory correspondence.
Additional duties include managing three Staff Assistants as well as Senator Slotkin’s internship program. This includes liaising with Michigan universities, actively recruiting a diverse candidate pool, selecting and training interns, and providing day to day guidance.
