The Ford Agency is actively seeking a senior policy professional to join one of the nation's top legislative teams at a law firm. This individual will work with a variety of clients on a number of policy areas (energy, foreign relations, financial services, and healthcare to name a few). This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a diverse policy portfolio looking to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment!

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.

Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and implement strategic advocacy plans on a wide range of policy issues
- Communicate with clients and internal teams
- Manage and mentor junior policy staff
- Stay up to date with legislation and regulations
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of policy experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience on the Hill, trade associations, or corporate government relations
- Strong understanding of the federal legislative process
- Experience with defense, foreign relations, tax, healthcare, energy, education, appropriations, or transportation strongly preferred
- Professional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
