Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and implement strategic advocacy plans on a wide range of policy issues
- Communicate with clients and internal teams
- Manage and mentor junior policy staff
- Stay up to date with legislation and regulations
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of policy experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience on the Hill, trade associations, or corporate government relations
- Strong understanding of the federal legislative process
- Experience with defense, foreign relations, tax, healthcare, energy, education, appropriations, or transportation strongly preferred
- Professional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
