DRAW FIELD OPS COORDINATOR
- Up to 15 weeks of expected travel. DRAW has locations in SE Michigan, Jackson, MS, and will be opening a third location in mid-2025.
Job Summary: Working under the direction of the Executive Director, the Field Ops Coordinator would be responsible for the following:
Volunteer & Staff coordination - recruit and develop DRAW volunteer/work teams, meant to work on the ground in disaster responses.
Compliance/Safety - implement and oversee DRAW’s safety procedures & protocols in conjunction with our response work.
Response coordination - coordinate both single agency and multi-agency responses to natural disasters in order to provide for the short-term needs of disaster victims.
Outreach/”supply-raising” - procure specific Gift-In-Kind donations from donors/corporate partners, as it applies to DRAW’s ongoing disaster response work.
Logistics management - work alongside DRAW’s Warehouse/Operations Coordinator to maintain DRAW’s inventory in each of DRAW’s warehousing locations, including prep, delivery, and distribution of supplies to disaster victims.
Planning & Preparation - work alongside DRAW’s Equipment Manager to oversee ongoing maintenance of DRAW’s equipment, as used by the Field Ops Team.
