Summary

Located in the Bureau of Economic Business Affairs, Office of Economic Policy Analysis and Public Diplomacy, Policy Analysis Team (EB/EPPD/PA). Serves on the EPPD Policy Analysis and Planning and Coordination Team and is responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and managing the complex foreign assistance budget management process via internal and external economic policy coordination that contributes to foreign assistance budget, planning, and management efforts.


Duties

Monitors political, economic, social, military, and other significant developments and trends in order to facilitate, efforts to achieve U.S. foreign economic policy objectives as assigned.

Advises on issues and problems; develops and proposes resolutions of economic policy and procedural issues and coordinates implementation of economic policy decisions.

Serves as a point of contact for incoming actions regarding initiatives on economic diplomacy from Departmental offices, U.S. embassies/posts, other U.S. government (USG) agencies, international organizations, foreign governments, or other sources.
