Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Support: Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, events, and donor outreach initiatives to meet revenue goals.
- Donor Relations: Maintain accurate donor records, prepare acknowledgment letters, and coordinate follow-up communications to strengthen donor engagement.
- Research & Prospecting: Conduct research on potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities, providing the Director with actionable insights to expand CPAC’s funding base.
- Administrative Management: Manage schedules, prepare reports, draft correspondence, and organize development materials to streamline the Director’s workflow.
- Special Projects: Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Development to support strategic priorities and organizational growth.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or administrative support, preferably in a nonprofit or political organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and persuasive approach to donor interactions.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Kindful, Bloomerang) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Experience with event planning or donor research is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
