Job Description
Congressman Jared Moskowitz (FL-23) seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented full-time Staff Assistant/Driver for his Washington, D.C. office. One requirement for this position is that they own a reliable mode of transportation to drive the Congressman in and around DC.
This entry-level position manages the front desk, including answering phones and greeting visitors. It also manages constituent tours and flag requests, helps coordinate the DC internship program, drives the Congressman, and assists with administrative duties for the office as needed.
Ideal candidates will have excellent writing, verbal, and organizational skills and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment. A good driving record is required; this person will spend one on one time with the member and has to have the ability to work flexible hours when the Member is in DC. Candidate will be responsible for driving the member while in DC, so a reliable safe mode of transportation is required.
