Paid Press Intern

Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) is seeking a full-time, paid press intern in his Washington, D.C. office. The press intern works closely with the communications director and press secretary. Responsibilities include compiling daily clips, drafting press releases, maintaining press contact lists, updating the official website, and assisting with social media.

Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities at once. The ideal applicant is conservative with a strong interest in political messaging and knowledge of Louisiana media.
