Saab, Inc. is seeking a part time Political Action Administrator (PAC) Administrator to handle all administrative aspects involved in the day-to-day management of the PAC, including membership, banking, internal and external communications, contribution requests and disbursements, solicitations, and compliance activities. In doing so, the PAC Administrator is responsible for the efficient and effective operations of the PAC and is essential to its success. As an integral member of the Corporate Affairs team that is operating both internally and outward facing, the ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and the passion to take an existing PAC and grow it into an industry leading PAC.
This position is 10-15 hours per week and will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and virtual/telecommute, to be based in Washington, DC.
The successful PAC Administrator will:

Work closely with the Saab, Inc. Government Affairs team on all aspects of PAC administration and strategy.

Be responsible for all aspects of PAC membership management including timely membership additions and changes, as well as engagement with payroll, finance, and compliance.

Manage intake, processing, and distribution of all federal disbursements.

Coordinate with compliance consultant to ensure that Federal Election Commission reports are filed in a timely manner.

Manage the PAC database and work with outside consultants to maintain data and follow best practices and data retention requirements.

Coordinate with internal and external counsel to generate reports and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with Finance on payroll and payments processing.

Assist with PAC budget development and support throughout the election cycle.

Assist with preparation of materials for PAC board meetings.

Coordinate marketing strategies and solicitation campaigns throughout the year to build awareness of and employee support for Saab PAC.

Assist with industry benchmarking and analysis.

Provide general support to the Government Affairs team as required including support in developing strategies to deliver on PAC growth.
Compensation Range: $35.58- $43.56/hr
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Skills and Experience:

BA/BS plus at least 2 years of relevant experience in campaign and/or political fundraising or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Knowledge of and interest in Congress and the political process, or congressional office experience.

Self-starter with an ability to work independently, identify and act on priorities as they develop, while also closely coordinating with the team.

Detail-oriented focus with strong organizational and project management skills, and an ability to manage and meet deadlines.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with a strong ethical base and customer focus.

Proficiency in Excel and a general ability to work with computer databases.

Proficiency in PowerPoint presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
PAC administration experience, including but not limited to PAC disbursements and generating compliance reports.

Campaign or Hill experience a plus.

Political fundraising experience within a corporate or consulting firm environment.
Citizenship Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
