Meta’s Global Business and Product Marketing team is looking for an experienced marketer to join the Vertical Solutions Marketing team to develop messaging, content, campaigns and marketing programs for partners and organizations in the government and non profit industries. The ideal candidate has experience in government/elections and/or non profit and advocacy marketing or communications, communicating to audiences of all skill levels, developing product marketing content, and developing and executing campaigns and programs. In addition, they will be a creative storyteller who can bring our products and insights to life for our partners. They will have a track record of building new programs from scratch, leading initiatives cross-functionally and creating value for external partners and internal stakeholders. Excellence in strategic planning, communication, stakeholder management, and ability to simplify our complex suite of solutions to resonate with our partners is required.


Government & Nonprofit Marketing Manager Responsibilities:


  • Lead relationships with global partner teams who manage relationships with governments and nonprofits, prioritizing requests and acting as a strategic partner.
  • Manage cross-functional relationships with teams such as Product Marketing, Legal and Comms.
  • Develop industry-specific brand positioning and messaging for Meta's business products and solutions in partnership with the Meta Product Marketing team, and produce related campaigns and programs that bring Facebook’s solutions to life for our partners.
  • Craft marketing deliverables (e.g., strategic plans, messaging documents, sales enablement materials, blog posts, videos, guides, etc.), and manage end-to-end execution of strategy across multiple teams and Meta-owned B2B marketing channels (e.g., Meta Government and Non Profits web surface and social channels).
  • Identify, evaluate, and oversee agency vendors.
  • Manage an annual marketing budget.
  • Create a strategy for, and execute, impactful content marketing and storytelling across verticals.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • 8+ years experience in marketing or advertising in functions including brand management, communications, product marketing roles
  • Experience developing proven insights-driven global marketing campaigns or content management for large scale audiences
  • Experience in brand positioning and messaging
  • Storyteller and strategic marketer with experience synthesizing complex information
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management experience
  • Creative thinker with proven experience in innovating and being resourceful in turning plans and concepts into reality
  • Proven experience interpreting data and insights to inform campaign/content development


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Understanding of Meta’s technologies and the value they provide for government and nonprofit communicators
  • Agency management - client and/or agency side, experience working with creative or production teams is beneficial
  • Experience in government, political or nonprofit marketing or communication
  • Experience briefing and working with paid media agencies/on paid media campaigns
  • Experience in brand marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, and/or business to business marketing
