Job Description

The Vice Chairman of the Joint Economic Committee is seeking a highly motivated economist to lead the creation of several reports analyzing the Economy of the People’s Republic of China. Primary duties would be to work across institutions to understand, evaluate, and create an honest assessment of the Chinese economy and draft reports on its status and the dynamics at play within the economy, much like the Joint Economic Committee did for the Soviet Union during the Cold War. It is expected that these reports would inform policy in Congress. Candidates should be entrepreneurial, collaborative, and have relevant experience related to this position.
