Position Responsibilities:
Form partnerships with key stakeholders to understand their business strategies and provide tailored regulatory guidance to enable success.
Evolve Boeing’s global trade infrastructure (automation, processes, training, and assessments) to support new and diverse global business ventures.
Leverage your understanding of the regulations governing global trade.
Applies technical knowledge in order to perform export jurisdiction and classification determinations for products and technology in collaboration with program engineers and product subject matter experts.
Develops initial company position based on preliminary analysis of implications of regulatory and legislative changes. Identifies arguments and external inquiries to support company position. Participates in industry advocacy groups and supports governmental engagement as required.
Interfaces with key business partners and provides comprehensive regulatory and policy solutions to enable business strategy. Partners on initiatives with programs and regulators in a collaborative environment to develop mutually beneficial solutions.
Leads project teams in the development and improvement of enterprise processes and procedures.
Develops, plans and executes strategic solutions in support of enterprise objectives. Performs audits, conducts gap analyses and creates solutions. Proposes solutions to mitigate enterprise risks associated with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Deep knowledge of U.S. Export Regulations (ITAR & EAR)
Knowledge of non-U.S. regulations

Strategic thinker, capable of shaping business plans and product development
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Required Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 + years of experience with Trade Control experience in U.S Customs, International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or Export Administration Regulations
5 + years of experience in the aerospace industry
3+ years of experience in training and/or mentoring in a technical environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in a role that required Project Management skills
Self-starter able to work complex issues across functional teams
Sound communication and interpersonal skills and works well in a collaborative environment
Aerospace industry knowledge and experience preferred, prospective candidates with experience in commercial electronics or other technical fields also considered
Experience and knowledge of unmanned aerial systems (UAS/UAV), autonomy and/or defense articles desirable
Sound understanding of export touch points within the overall business processes
Experience with export jurisdiction and classification determination
Able to independently and proficiently analyze products and technical data/technology in order to assist with export strategy
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
